It’s a new time in this new-fangled era of the entertainment industry. As the traditional ways of doing things fall apart, now, more than ever, calls for a new set of ideas, new rules, new emerging paradigms and new ideas being called out from everywhere – even from the music shakers and makers. And the…

You want to know why you struggle?

Are you ready for this?

Because you do (sigh).

Didn’t ya just know it was your fault?

But hey – it’s a little more complex than that.

Probably about a million times if you are over 21.

Are You Commitment Phobic?

Posted by C A R I C O L E on September 28, 2011 at 4:00pm 0 Comments

I talk to a ton of artists, wanna-be artists, young aspiring artists, indie artists and established artists. It seems they all struggle with commitment. It’s either commitment to their craft, their art or their longevity. I think it could be a human dilemma.

My experience has taught me that human beings resist Commitment and Completion (and Love, but that’s another article). But today I want to talk about Commitment and Completion - two forces…

How Music Xray Strives to Protect Musicians Who Play by the Rules From Those Who Don’t

Posted by Music Xray on July 26, 2011 at 10:00pm 0 Comments

Musicians need help we get it!

I was a hungry musician myself at one time and I was willing to do whatever it took to get in front of the right ears. For me, those times were the 90’s. Musicians had to do that for the first decade of the 2000’s too. But not anymore.

Music Xray guarantees musicians get heard by the professionals they…
